THE TEMVELO ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS -SYMPOSIUM & EXPO

Multipronged (Pty) Ltd, in collaboration with the Government custodians of Environmental Affairs at both provincial and national
levels, will be hosting a Nationwide Environmental Symposium, Expo, and Awards across different provinces in 2024. This will
culminate in the first-ever National Environment Symposium and Awards (Temvelo) in February 2025. Going forward, this will be an
annual event. The project was successfully piloted over five years in the Kingdom of Eswatini in partnership with the Government,
UN Agencies, the EU, and the private sector.

Awards Ceremony

The Temvelo Awards recognize individuals, organisations, or initiatives that have made significant contributions to the
preservation, protection, or improvement of the environment. These awards aim to raise awareness about environmental
issues and inspire others to take action.

Symposium and Expo

The Symposium is a meeting place for collaboration between the public and private sectors, considering the love of the
environment whilst benefiting from the socio-economic resources it offers.
The Expo consists of the showcasing of cutting-edge technologies, sustainable products, and initiatives.

Community Capacity Building – Build up Events

The build-up events are aimed at creating awareness and enhancing the capacity of communities through hands-on
environmental initiatives. These include activities such as community projects, capacity building workshops, tree planting,
donga closing, wetland protection, etc..
